Access AS400 Query Print Definitions
I need to generate a report that shows the output type and the name of the output device found in the print definitions of a designated query. Since there are a lot of queries to check, I need to get access to the query print definitions without using WRKQRY option 6. I would be happy if there is an existing AS400 command or procedure that does exactly what WRKQRY option 6 does, so that I can check all queries in a designated library.

Way to restrict by user id, permissible libraries for WRKQRY
On OS400, Is there a way to manage limitation for permissible librairies when they use the command WRKQRY? And for those limited librairies can we assign a limit or quota to the storage usage per user id ou user group to avoid creation of enourmous files?

How to restrict file size created using RUNQRY ?
e.g. Created the query using WRKQRY to join 2 transaction file and output type selected is databasefile. We don’t have the exact primary key to relate 2 files, hence we are not sure about the no. of transaction expected from this query. Can we restrict the output file size, as these file are created by system.

Can you mass change file libraries in AS/400 query?
Here’s a tough one.
We currently have a few hundred user defined queries.
Created with the WRKQRY command.
We are looking at a software upgrade that now puts the production data in a new library.
When a user creates a querey and leaves the library *LIBL, it defaults in the first library it finds the data file in.
This would be great if the *LIBL stayed as it would always grab the current production library.
It does not.
This means our department and the users need to change every querey defined. It’s a simple change. Basically we need to change the library the data is found in from “OUR20DATA” to “OUR30DATA”.
This is very time consuming as we have done this in the past.
Now with more users and more queries we are looking for a way to automate the data library change process.
Is there a command or function that can be used to develop an application to do this?

Define query without WRKJOBSCDE
How can I Define a query to run only Monday thru Friday not using WRKJOBSCDE (we have a customised WRKQRY) scheduler and doesn’t have an option to input the schedule day e.g. *Mon *Tues =, etc….I’ll like to see if any one knows how to Define the query using the DEFINE RESULTS FIELDS e.g. YESTERDAY TODAY – 4 day but, for a week using only MON,TUE,WED,FRI only.
